JJWC MAINTAINS ISO 9001:2015 CERTIFICATION

In its continuous effort in raising the bar in ensuring the promotion and protection of the rights of children at risk and children in conflict with the law, the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) maintains its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 -Quality Management Systems Certification for four consecutive years now.

“JJWC is grateful for this continued certification and welcomes this with pride. This is a proof of our commitment to continuously enhance our systems and processes and improve the effectiveness of the quality management system,” said JJWC Executive Director Atty. Tricia Clare A. Oco.

JJWC successfully completed the 2nd surveillance audit conducted by SOCOTEC Certification Philippines, Inc., an authorized ISO certifying body in the Philippines, on September 02, 2022.

Among the sites that underwent the second surveillance audit and were recommended for continued certification were the Policy and Research Division and Finance and Administrative Division for the National Secretariat and Regions II, III, V, X, XI, National Capital Region, and Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for the Regional Secretariat.  The certification covers the Secretariat processes of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council.

Since 2016, JJWC has recognized the significance of an established QMS in the overall administrative and operational functions, and processes as a national government agency.

“JJWC will pursue excellence in ensuring the full implementation of the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act, as amended, in adherence to ISO standards on Quality Management System,” said Atty. Oco.
