Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act Explainer Video
In efforts to continuously create and increase awareness of the duty bearers, stakeholders, and the general public on the Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act or JJWA and its implementation, an explainer video was produced by the JJWC to create a common and consistent understanding of the salient features of the law.
This video briefer talks about the restorative justice principle for Children At Risk (CAR) and Children In Conflict with the Law (CICL) and the victims as well as the key initiatives under the law such as prevention, intervention, diversion, rehabilitation, reintegration, justice and safety.
